'Eat, Pray Walk' is the critically-acclaimed show about an Aussie vagabond's gruelling 1,000+km journey across France & Spain on 2 feet - the Camino de Santiago - surviving 40 days of blisters, snorers & dodgy Wi-Fi in search of life's answers & free wine! Multiple award-winning comedian & storyteller Marcus Ryan faced injuries, bed-bugs, getting lost in scorching deserts and a political revolution. With a broken backpack, borrowed shoes & a sense of adventure, it's an epic true tale you'll want to hear, but glad you didn't live!'

Performed stand-up comedy
in 57 countries & 6 continents.

"Something will happen."

Marcus Ryan Bio
Perennial globetrotter Marcus Ryan is a natural comic and gifted storyteller and has featured at so many festivals and clubs around the world it’s hard to know where home is these days. One thing's for sure, he’s right at home on stage.
A laid back yet engaging presence, Marcus charms his audiences with a sharp wit and tales from the road, having performed in 57 countries in 6 continents, but who's counting!? And even a few gigs (poorly) in Spanish!
Though Australian born, Marcus is not one to stay still, previously based in Canada & the UK, he regularly plays club circuits across North America, Asia & Europe as well as frequenting festivals world-wide. Never shy of a challenge,, he thrives on exploring unchartered territories, continually carving his own path, bringing English speaking comedy to communities, cities & even countries that have never had it before! Completing epic journeys through South East Asia & Latin America becoming the first person in history to perform English speaking stand-up comedy in several countries, including Laos, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Uruguay & Paraguay. The result of this was a multiple award-nominated solo storytelling show ¿Hablas Inglés? that has toured world-wide to sold out audiences and rave reviews. Hi follow up show 'Walk This Qué' tells the story of his 1,000+km journey on 2 feet walking the Camino De Santiago across Spain & 'MARCOS' is his latest solo show - an hour of his craziest stories of sex, drugs, crime and wild adventures. All 3 shows are touring simultaneously and cementing his reputation as a great storyteller on the comedy & fringe circuits around the globe.

HISTORY : At age 18 Marcus worked on-air in breakfast radio before kicking off his stand-up career in Melbourne. Early success in Australia gained invitations to perform in Edinburgh & Vancouver, allowing his passion of comedy to combine with a newfound love of travel. When it comes to experience, there isn’t a lot he hasn’t encountered. From television, film, radio and acting, as well as writing and performing poetry, giving university lectures, mentoring students and upcoming comics through workshops. Whether it be charities, club comedy, backpacker gigs to corporate events such as AFL Europe & Cricket Australia and raising money for Fred Hollows Foundation with his concept show ‘Lights Out Laughs’, from 3 minute sets to 3 hours, he’s performed in a play for an audience of 1 to hosting music festivals up to 15,000! Versatile is an understatement. Be it clean or blue, for young & old, for family, kids and international audiences, Marcus Ryan is an excellent reliable all-round MC and headliner, a brilliant storyteller and observational comic with an ability to entertain any room.
Don't miss your chance to catch him while you can!
